About us

Strippers Paint Removers was founded in 1974 and since then has pioneered many of the processes and techniques which have become standard paint removal practice in building conservation and renovation.

Long since known and cherished by the professionals, Strippers Paint Removers’ range of products are respected as being an effective way to remove paint and coatings without damage to the surface. This is why as well as being used with great satisfaction by many a DIY-er, our products have been used in some of the countries’ most well known and cherished buildings as well as in the transport and aviation industries.

No one product will be effective against all paints which is why you may not have achieved the results you were hoping for with an off-the-shelf product. Different types of paint or coatings (such as bitumen, adhesive or varnishes etc), will respond to different paint strippers. Strippers Paint Removers have a tried and tested range of products that will be effective against virtually any paint or coating.

Although undeniably messy, removing paint or coatings should not be too labour intensive. If you use the right product then you should not have to succumb to any scraping or rubbing down. Selection of the correct product for your individual product is key. You can easily identify the most suitable product with our Product Selector. Alternatively we offer a free testing service on paint layer samples sent to us and offer economical trial packs for your own tests. In short, everything to assist you in obtaining the perfect result!
