BEAMS – KLING STRIP
Painted beams are commonplace in old timber-framed buildings. The removal of layers of paint and varnish built up over years can seem like an overwhelming job.
Kling Strip, applied thickly and given a long enough dwell time will take them back to their original natural appearance, making them look like they have never been painted. As it is a wet-process, Kling Strip is a safe way of removing lead-based paints.
The difference to the appearance and feeling of a room that had previously dark painted beams can be transformative.
