WOOD PANELLING – KLING STRIP AND WOODBLEACH
The build up of layers of dark varnish on this wood panelling gave the room a rather gloomy appearance. Kling Strip was used to remove the varnish. It was applied approximately 4mm thick and left overnight before being removed and the panelling washed down.
Kling Strip can darken oak so to return it to its natural colour once the varnish was removed, Woodbleach was applied. This is done by simply being brushed on and left for a few minutes before being washed down. The beautiful wood panelling then looked as good as the day it was installed.
